80th Anniversary 492nd FS Challenge Coin

On the 10th August 1943 the ’55th Bombardment Squadron (Light)’ was redesignated the ‘492nd Fighter Bomber Squadron’. 2023 marks the 80th Anniversary of the creation of this squadron

To celebrate this historic event the 492nd Fighter Generation Squadron commissioned Runway25 to create a series of items to mark the occasion.

Measuring 2.00″ in diameter and 4mm thick, the coins come in capsules as standard.
