Falklands 40th Anniversary Coin Series – Sea Harrier FRS.1

One of six coins in our series commemorating the 40th Anniversary of the Falklands conflict. 800 NAS Sea Harrier FRS.1 XZ457/14. This Sea Harrier, whilst operating from HMS Hermes, was the highest scoring Sea Harrier of the conflict having shot down an Argentine A-4Q Skyhawk and two Grupo 6 Daggers. After the war a fourth aircraft (Skyhawk) that was damaged and subsequently crash landed was confirmed as a ‘kill’.

Measuring 2.00″ in diameter and 4mm thick , the coins come in capsules as standard.
