Filled with nostalgia, our USAFE Cold War collection will feature some of the most recognisable and most missed aircraft tails and markings from across many USAFE bases. Designed by Runway25, in collaboration with Gingercake Creative, we have recreated the various tails in minute detail. The formation strips even glow in the dark!
Measuring 2.00″ in diameter and 4mm thick , the coins come in capsules as standard. You can also select a presentation box, acrylic stand or ‘floating’ coin stand from the drop down menu if you’d like to take it up a notch!

A fantastic set to commemorate the USAF in Europe. The quality of the coins are to the typically high standard we have come to expect from Runway 25 .
In a fantastic gloss finish the colours really do suit this series of coins.
The coins in this set depicting 3 of the aircraft that have become synonymous with the USAFE .
The A-10A representing the Suffolk bases of RAF Bentwaters and RAF Woodbridge. The particular A-10A depicted went on to fly out of Spangdahlem, Germany and which sadly crashed in France. A touching tribute to the pilot Captain Robert I. ‘Nova’ Lopez.
The F-4D representing the Suffolk base RAF Lakenheath. This particular F-4D went on display at An American Legion Post in Pasadena, Texas and is also the colours represented on Phantom 63-7419 currently on display at the RAF Lakenheath Liberty Wing Air Park.
The final coin in this set is the F-15C representing USAFE Bitburg, Germany. This particular F-15C 79-0036 went on to fly out of Eglin AFB, US, before going into storage at AMARC.
A worthy addition to the display cabinets and I’m looking forward to the next set to be released.
