30th Anniversary End of RAF Phantom Operations Coin

2022 marks 30 years since the RAF retired the phabulous Phantom. To mark the passing of this aircraft, we have produced several items for collectors to celebrate this much loved and missed icon of aviation.

The Phantom featured on the front of the coin is 74 Sqn Phantom FGR.2 XV497/W which made the last official RAF Phantom flight from RAF Wattisham to RAF Coningsby on 31st October 1992.

Xv497 now resides at the fantastic (or should that be Phantastic!) Bentwaters Cold War Museum.

Measuring 2.00″ in diameter and 4mm thick, the coins come in capsules as standard.
