RIAT 19

As the dust settles on this year’s Air Tattoo, here’s a roundup of the events you may have missed from our second year trading at RIAT.

After setting up on Thursday we met with the RAF Chinook display team who had flown our coins on board the aircraft as they transited to the show! They were boxed up and put out for sale on Friday morning just before gates opened. A special thanks goes to Flt Lt Ant Jewitt for arranging the coins being flown and also for bringing the team down to the stall for a photo.

Our patch designed around the themes of the 2019 show, 50th Anniversary of the moon landings & NATO’s 70th anniversary, proved very popular with crews and punters alike. We’re already looking forward to finding out what next year’s themes are so we can make a start on the patch! If you missed out, we’ve listed the remaining stock of the RIAT patch online.

Many of those who signed up for a remove before flight tag key ring came to collect theirs from our stall, it was great to meet new faces and hear such positive feedback about the keyrings and their modern designs. The most popular design was the SR-71 Blackbird. Any uncollected key rings have been listed online to give those who weren’t at the show a chance to get their hands on them.

It was great to see so many of our regular customers and meet new ones! We also had some interesting visitors to the stall including world renowned aviation photographer Jamie Hunter and former RAF Lightning pilot Ian Black. Ian was signing copies of his new book, Tornado Warlord.

We can’t wait to see you next year, in the meantime if you have any ideas for new projects products let us know!
