Royal Air Force Centenary

1^stApril 2018 sees the Royal Air Force (RAF) celebrate its 100^thanniversary. To mark this occasion, the RAF has commissioned a baton that will travel around the UK. It will be taken to 100 different locations over 100 days. You can keep a track of its progress on social media via the hashtag #RAFBatonRelay.

The RAF will have an increased presence at many airshows during the summer including RAF Cosford, The Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) and Duxford.

On the 10^thJuly, the RAF will be holding a parade and flypast in London. The parade will be preceded by a service in Westminster Abbey. The flypast will include up to 100 aircraft from the RAF making it one of the largest for many years.
